Relevance of BN politics.

When NAJIB, the deputy Prime Minister, campaigned against me at Dewan Suarah, Bau last week, he talked about DAP, PKR and PAS as IRRELEVANT in the contact of Malaysian politics. He also mentioned that SNAP is “NOT RELEVANT”. On the ground relevancy he urged voters not to vote for SNAP. I thanked GOD that voters of West Malaysia have spoken and told NAJIB that BN is NO LONGER RELEVANT in Penang, Kedah, Perak and Selangor following the foot path of the Kelantanese who gave PAS a bigger mandate. PKR was said to be “PARTI KURANG RELEVAN”! Who get the last laugh now in Selangor, Penang, Perak and Kedah. He should not waste  any time in Sarawak when his  own fortress was crumbling in West Malaysia, especially my area, MAS GADING.

I hope that the DAY will come when Sarawakians wake up and tell BN that they are not needed in Sarawak also. Time have come when voters must realize the wisdom of having a Government who will serve the people with honesty, transparency and dedication to make Sarawak a better place for all before we run out of our natural resources. For the natives, before they become landless farmers.

It is pitiful when Sarawakians who knows what goes on still campaign for BN just to save their rice bowls while sacrificing thousands of others. Those who betrays our dignity in Mas Gading prefer to crawl on their bellies forgetting that honor and dignity is more important than dirty campaign money and empty promises like EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL- when they know full well that BIDAYUHS are amongst “ORANG LAIN-LAIN” and not considered as “BUMIPUTRAS” as stipulated in the New Economic Policy. While Namsian, the State Assemblyman for Tasik Biru, handed RM 20,000.00 grant each to SIX Chinese Schools in Bau, none was given to schools in the Bidayuh areas. Where equality for those schools.

BN politics, based on racial and religious quotas and PORK BARREL POLITICS, should become things of the past as the voters become more educated and more aware of their rights to better jobs and services. Promises of projects, subsistences, contracts, etc should not be the issues anymore as no Government of the day will be able to afford those kind of Promises. Ordinary people will not benefit but will carry the burden of paying for the mismanaged economy leading to increased prices of goods and services.

Based on what were said during the last campaign and what BN leaders and supporters now are saying, it is BN politics which is no longer relevant in a Malaysia which should become a better place for all Malaysians. Young Malaysians must stand up and be counted and demand a better future and place for all. Otherwise Malaysia will one end up one day  like CEYLON, KENYA and other African countries where true democracy has been subverted for the benfit of the few rich, powerful and privileged class only.

Sarawakians, you need to wake up. Let BN sit in the Opposition Bench one day. You can do it if only you think you can. Thus wake up friends, have Sarawak for yourself as well.

In Two years or so, Sarawak will join Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Penang and Kelantan. We are with you all the way.

    Thank you.

All Sarawakians must strive for a better future. We cannot ever be threatened or forced into submission. Democracy must be practiced without fear or favor. Otherwise the “MILK and BUTTER” politicians will milk the State high and dry.

Money politics ran supreme in the just concluded Parliamentary election. Conquer it to be free. Only freedom from the shackles of MONEY POLITICS will guarantee future long term peace and stability of Malaysia.

Najib did not realize that there were termites inside the BN fortress in Pulau Pinang, Kedah, Perak and Selangor. The termites are the Malays themselves. He came to Bau just because he has less pest control work to do. In Sarawak, there are less termites yet but soon, BN will learn their own very lesson.
